FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT

A WORLD OF FUN AWAITS!

We've got something for everyone...

Based in Highampton Village Hall, we have over 140m² in our main hall, providing lots of room for our children to explore, learn and develop.  This room is set up with a variety of resources, which are changed fortnightly so there are always new things to discover which will stimulate the inquisitive minds of our children allowing them to investigate, play and thrive.

Our outside space area is approximately 170m² with an all weather 28m² covered area to house resources that we bring outside. We have an artificial grass play area, outside climbing and play equipment, large sand pit, play houses, planting area and a mud kitchen. In addition to this, because we have strong links with the neighbouring school, we are able to utilise their field, playground and balance equipment.

We also utilise the smaller committee room which we use for circle time, registration, singing and storytimes.  In this room we have soft seating so that children can sit comfortably to self-select books, or play quietly with the toys in this area. We may watch an animated story; listen to an audio book; dance, sing, and join in with physical musical activities.

In addition to this, we have appropriate storage for all our equipment, toilets, hand washing/sanitising and nappy changing facilities and a fully equipped kitchen where we prepare a mid-morning snack and are able to accommodate cooking activities.

GOT QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR FACILITIES?

Send us a message, we'll be happy to answer your questions

On tables and tough spots, carpets, rugs and matting, we provide resources, activities and toys for the children to develop in all 7 areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.  We have a large array of equipment and resources which have been selected specifically to meet the children’s needs.  Modelling play to inspire and encourage their imaginations, we will change or add to resources continuously to respond to their interests and creative ideas.  We are always inventive and pair resources to encourage the children to try new things, make links, develop their own ideas and choose ways to do things.
